THCA Therapeutics has completed Version 2.0 of the THCA PURE™ Oral Technical Disclosure and Intellectual Property Assessment.

The updated document establishes one controlling formulation concept: a two-piece inner hard capsule containing high-purity THCA isolate powder, physically enclosed within a hemp-seed-oil-filled outer soft capsule. The powder and oil remain in separate compartments during manufacture and storage.

Version 2 introduces a more conservative and evidence-led intellectual-property strategy. Existing patent and commercial platforms already describe nested capsules, hard- and soft-capsule combinations and outer liquid or lipid fills. The basic cap-in-softgel architecture is therefore not presented as inherently novel.

Potential future protection will depend on narrower, technically supported features such as THCA-specific composition, material compatibility, compartment dimensions, low-stress manufacturing controls, sealing and conditioning parameters, protective packaging, release behavior and comparative stability results.

The assessment also defines the experiments, analytical endpoints, documentation standards and professional patent-counsel activities required before stronger conclusions about patentability or freedom to operate can be reached.
